He came from a shelter and he ate like he might not get another meal. Forty-seven seconds for a full bowl, then he'd look up for more. We tried everything on the shelf. Nothing was good enough for him, so we made one ourselves.

September. A folding table, a box of bowls, and a lot of nerves. We spent the autumn at pet events and weekend markets, watching people pick one up and say my dog does exactly that. That's when we knew it wasn't just Jake.

Jake came from a rescue, so it was never really a decision. Every order helps feed dogs still waiting for their family — the ones eating too fast in a shelter kennel, the way he once did.
